Part-Time Meal Program Assistant

(suitable for those with commercial kitchen experience)

We are looking for a part-time meal program assistant with commercial kitchen experience and a passion for planning and making nutritious, delicious meals.

In this role, you will assist the Kitchen Manager with meal planning and preparation, shopping and errands, supervising and training volunteers, and overall kitchen safety and management. Additional responsibilities include accepting, sorting and storing donations, ensuring site safety, kitchen equipment cleaning and maintenance and other tasks as needed.

Work hours are expected to be Monday and Thursday 11:00am to 6:30pm; Friday and Saturday 6am-2:30pm. Pay range is $25-$28 per hour DOE.

Part-Time Program Assistant (suitable for those 16+)

The part-time program assistant will help with the Friday afternoon food donation program and the Saturday morning bicycle program.

Work hours are Friday 2:30pm-6:30pm and Saturday 8am-12pm. Pay is $22-25 per hour depending on experience.
