Our Story

We started serving a simple cold breakfast in 2011, and have evolved into a community hub where hundreds of neighbors find nourishment, connection, and care.

In September 2011, a small group of compassionate individuals began serving a cold breakfast to a handful of guests every Saturday morning. Today, Hope’s Corner serves more than 60,000 meals per year and offers warm showers, laundry services, bicycle repairs and more!

2011

  • Organization is founded

  • Saturday meal program begins

  • Holiday Event begins

2015

  • Organization becomes a 501(c)3

  • Two ADA-compliant showers built

2019

  • On-site commercial kitchen is built

  • Laundry facilities are installed

2020

  • Wednesday meal program begins

  • First part-time staff member is hired

2021

  • 100,000th meal served

2022

  • Monday meal program begins

  • 200,000th meal served

2025

  • Afternoon RV Meal Delivery on Monday and Thursday begins

  • Friday morning coffee service begins

2026

  • 300,000th meal served

  • Executive Director hired

  • 15th Anniversary celebrated
